When I reinstalled these 3 packages from the Visual Studio 2010 distribution media, everything started working. vsta.exe is shared by multiple Microsoft products including MS office and SQL server for SSIS as well as others. Well, suprisingly enough, it didn"t install it… The SQL Server Installation wizard saw that the Microsoft Visual Studio Tools For Applications 3.0 was already installed (see picture below) And when I check my blog Visual Studio doesn’t really related to the VSTA install.
