BTW I did try Yrthilian's search option suggestion and it didn't help in my case. I had moved a folder from an IMAP account to a pst account in outlook 2016. My finding were; An end user created an calender event, she must have rescheduled a new event without deleting the original invite.

Thanks Reply Aaron Rakich May 26, 2014 at 14:09 I was having the same problem. I turned off message preview and they all came back. Strangely enough, the only reason I tried doing this was to see if it would let me create another folder with the same name and it automatically reappeared. check over here Here I can see the new folder that I just created with the inbox but not able to open it.

Reply Erin A May 21, 2015 at 21:54 Nathan you RULE!! It was caused by calendar items in a mailbox without an agenda. That worked for me. The strange thing is, if i make a new folder and then add a sub folder this does not have a filter.
