It's scans pdf or jpg. I opened the document, which it open in word. my scanning (to a local folder) was INITALLY working FINE even with Windows 8.... Just check the secure temp folder for Outlook.

It is never really clear to me WHAT my logon name is supposed to be.... We came across pdf's that were scanned just minutes apart and on will and one won't open.
