I receive the following message for each unsuccessful attempt to send: Cannot send message using the server smtp.gmail.com: (and my e-mail address) The SMTP connection to server "smtp.gmail.com" failed. One for each googlemail account I have listed (2 for me, 2 for my kids - 3 googlemail.com 1 gmail.com).I do not have an iCloud email account, only a regular iCloud https://www.wpsitecare.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Z3i4FZ94h6.mp4 Note: we did see some other SMTP plugins out there, and Easy WP SMTP seemed to be the most solid. I use gmail to send and receive emails from my domain account hosted by godaddy.
Found lots of discussion and solutions on web but the only one that worked and without a plugin was the solution provided here by Peter Cralen here. I tried it while looking for a solution (I was just working on the same), and the 465 port timeouts all the time. Same service, new name. In addition to guides like this one, we provide simple cloud infrastructure for developers. Does anyone have an idea what caused it and how to fix it?
