Cannot Remove Adminserver.lok

This is my attempt to share my experience and knowledge on Oracle BI & Data Warehousing Subjects.. When I started the server the first time, the system automaticllly created the boot.properties file but I still see the same error. And the timeout is also happening intermittently, not everytime. All times are in JavaRanch time: GMT-6 in summer, GMT-7 in winter Contact Us | advertise | mobile view | Powered by JForum | Copyright © 1998-2016 Paul Wheaton Programering Home navigate here

The error message is "BEA-090078:User weblogic in security realm myrealm has had 5 invalid login attempts, locking account for 30 minutes". I have two processes that seem to be listening on the port 7001, the listener port for my Weblogic. This file exists to ensure that config.xml is being updated serially. If the lock is already held by some other process, then it would throw this error. https://community.oracle.com/thread/904768

Thanks in Advance

When you start managed server again, Admin Server will create these directories. In addition to creating these two files, the administration server also creates config.lok, alsowith a size of 0 byte, and edit.lok. This problem happens only when the server is inactive for a while. I don't have any DAT files.

I believe one fix is to delete some .lok files but I'm not sure which ones.
